Building Information Modeler (BIM Technician)

Shift: 1st

Pay: Depending on experience level $25-42/hr.

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a  Building Information Modeler (BIM Technician) for and Engineering firm in York, PA.  A prospective candidate must be strong in Revit and have experience with structural work.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field.
• 1+ years of Revit experience in structural engineering or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.
• Bluebeam Revu experience is ideal, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with overall project responsibilities.
• Visualize and conceptualize in both 3-D and 2-D.
• Accurately create and alter models and construction drawing sets.
• Prepare final models and drawings under the design team's direction, from rough sketches, mark-ups, or verbal communication.
• Set up BIM models and ensure compliance with client BIM standards and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal and external design disciplines to monitor design-related changes and coordinate model distribution.
