Job Description

Position Summary

Providing clinical expertise, training, and support for medical devices, procedures, or therapies, potentially engaging in sales and client relations.

Key responsibilities include educating staff and patients, providing technical assistance, conducting product demonstrations, staying updated on medical advancements, and supporting sales and marketing efforts by building customer relationships and identifying new leads.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clinical Education & Training   :  Providing education and training on medical devices, procedures, or therapies to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Technical Support   :  Offering hands-on support to users of medical equipment and devices, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Sales Support   :  Collaborating with sales teams to promote products, conduct product demonstrations, and answer detailed questions about their functionality.
  • Client Relationship Management   :  Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, managing client databases, and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Professional Development   :  Staying current with medical advancements, attending conferences, and monitoring innovations and competitor activities in the specialized field.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of medical devices, clinical procedures, or a specific therapy area is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for presentations, training sessions, and client interactions.
  • High levels of accuracy and precision are needed when working with medical information and devices.
  • The ability to understand and explain complex technical information about medical products.
  • Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • A willingness to travel to customer locations, medical facilities, and conferences is vital. Must either currently have or have the ability to get a valid passport as there is potential for international travel. Travel could be up to 80%.
  • Openness to the possibility of relocating to an open territory in the future, should the need arise.

  Education & Experience

  • An Associate's degree in a life science field, such as biology, chemistry, or medical technology is encouraged
