Responsibilities of our company driver include:

• • Operate vehicles and transports for the Company
  • Follow and promote safe work practices
  • Maintain a valid driving record
  • Follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations
  • Coordinate daily with Fabrication Manager/Superintendent
  • Follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes
  • Must maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness
  • Work to promote and cultivate a positive culture among PSG employees

  Duties and responsibilities

  • Must be able to safely haul a trailer
  • Practice safe driving habits
  • Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
  • Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
  • Deliver materials to job sites or other locations as instructed
  • Load and unload trailers as needed
  • Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and free of clutter
  • Maintain vehicle and trailer equipment
  • Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion
  • Handle all customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and informative manner
  • Collect any documents when necessary
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports
  • Sign off on every delivery made and return load list/delivery list to the appropriate person. File a copy of the delivery/load list.
  • Create a load list if one is not available to be signed and returned.
  • Daily log of deliveries made with photos of the delivery and signed load list.
