Job Description

Innovative Electric is an electrical company serving Charleston, SC, and surrounding areas. 

Innovative focuses primarily on residential electrical contracting for new construction projects. Innovative Electric is the sister company to Innovative Sight & Sound, the premier Charleston home technology integrator offering custom home theaters, home automation systems, and security systems.

Job duties will include :

• pre-wire and trim of electrical and lighting systems
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• fixture installation
• general maintenance
• troubleshooting

We require a clean driving record and background check

Pay starting at $22 -$24 per hour for this role. 

• Construction experience or general mechanical aptitude.
• Experience working in residential electrical field on new construction and retrofit applications a plus
• Experience using standard hand tools like power drills, wire strippers, and voltmeters.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints a plus
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Responsible and consistent in showing up on time for work and performing quality work while on site.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• An eagerness to learn and work as part of a growing team is required.

Compensation details: 22-24 Hourly Wage
