Job Title: ESL Teacher – Middle & High School

Job Description:
Pleasant View School is seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL Teacher to support Middle and High School students . The ideal candidate will work closely with students to strengthen English language proficiency across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, while collaborating with classroom teachers to support academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ESL instruction to Middle and High School students
• Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with students’ language levels
• Support students’ academic language development across content areas
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Monitor and document student progress
• Communicate effectively with families when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• ESL teaching experience (required)
• ESL certification highly preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with diverse learners
