Salary: $35,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a Diploma in IT with equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of pertinent experience.
• Proficiency in automation testing.
• Ability to code in Python (or Java).
• Skilled in writing complex SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of ETL/Backend testing.
• Strong RDBMS SQL Skills (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, joins, pivots, and subquery parameterization).
• Capability to establish connections to new data sources or different databases (Python/JDBC).
• Familiarity with Autosys Scheduler.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify and report data discrepancies.
• Basic knowledge of file handling in Python.
• Understanding of Java concepts such as programs, classes, objects, encapsulation, dates, arrays, and exceptions.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply in daily tasks and decisions.
• Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket for contributions to automation code (e.g., branching, creating pull requests, merging).
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills to engage directly with Client Stakeholders, Senior Management, and technology partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Capability to build consensus and resolve interpersonal challenges.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Competence in providing information and ideas clearly, comprehensively, concisely, and in an organized manner.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring other team members.

Responsibilities:

• I will provide test development and automation to ensure that the quality of the intended solution is achieved.
• I will contribute to test planning, design, development of automated test cases, and execution to meet business objectives.
• I will integrate directly into the team’s continuous delivery process to enhance the delivery of quality software while ensuring speed, agility, and risk management.
• I will implement both functional and non-functional automation approaches, including performance, readiness/reliability testing, accessibility, and security. I will develop frameworks, scripts, and ensure that automated tests are part of the continuous integration, delivery, and testing (CI/CD/CT) pipelines.
• I will oversee source code management, seeking opportunities to effectively utilize tools and engineering practices (DevOps tools and processes, version control, monitoring tools and processes, etc.).
• I will apply the principles of Behavior/Test-Driven Development (BDD/TDD) with a focus on value-driven results.
• I will provide subject matter expertise while considering overall quality, performance, user experience, and future bug prevention.
• I will monitor service productivity and assess efficiency levels within my function while implementing continuous process and performance improvements whenever possible.
• I will work collaboratively with my team and leadership to proactively identify and resolve issues related to product quality.
