Job Description: 

Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of our equipment at sites of operation. Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams to drive improvements and upgradable solutions. As well as develop on site solutions and instructions capable of being carried out by remote staff. 

Responsibilities: 

• Organize and manage equipment installation 
• Prioritize organize and conduct field repairs, may include basic fabrication, electrical soldering, cable splicing/repair
• Develop and implement field repair solutions 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers 
• Provide organized feedback on current and future improvements 
• Develop and improve operations and field manuals 
• Ability to travel as required 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience in mechanical engineering or a related field. 
• 2+ years of field engineering or maintenance experience 
• Practical experience in building and testing mechanical systems; hands-on fabrication skills are highly valued. 
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics lifting up to 60 pounds and the ability to stand on your feet for 8+ hours. 

Desirable Skills: 

• Hands on experience with manufacturing and/or electronics soldering Basic experience in a CAD tool (Solidworks preferred)
