What You Will Do
Design fire alarm systems for commercial projects, serving as design lead and guiding CAD Support Technicians. Ensure code compliance, develop technical submissions, and support project execution from design through commissioning.

How You Will Do It

  • Lead design efforts and coordinate with CAD teams.

  • Review and optimize system designs for compliance and efficiency.

  • Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and bill of materials.

  • Support Project Managers and field teams with technical guidance.

  • Attend design and coordination meetings.

  • Mentor CAD Support Technicians and ensure quality of deliverables.

  • Track project hours and ensure alignment with estimates.

What We Look For

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience with NFPA 72 and fire alarm systems.

  • Strong design, estimating, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reading architectural/electrical diagrams.

  • Ability to obtain necessary licenses.

  • Full-time availability.

Preferred

  • 5+ years in Fire/Security system design.

  • NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems.

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Drafting (AutoCAD), or equivalent experience.

HIRING SALARY RANGE : $76,000 - 95,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
