Job Description

Summary
A Floral Clerk is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction by building a reputation for Ultimate Service. He/She will perform all floral duties, including process of orders and floral design. Execute floral procedures as outlined by company and Floral Manager.
Key Responsibilities
When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
Differentiate in products and service by producing quality products
Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management
Utilize floral systems and processes consistently and correctly
Practice safe work habits; maintain a high level of store cleanliness, organization, and a safe work environment
Ensure quality and consistent product availability and solutions to our guests
Follow attendance tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook
Perform floral duties in accordance with company guidelines
Assist in watering and department maintenance as needed
Performs other duties as requested or required by upper management
Key Requirements
Working knowledge of plants and flowers
Ability to work in varied temperatures
Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
Ability to perform all physical aspects of the floral duties including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, and walking
Ability to read, write and complete company forms for sales reporting
Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
Ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Be able to perform all other physical aspects of the position including but not limited to bending, squatting, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and walking
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays
Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
