Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Front End Web Designer to join a prestigious international law firm client. This individual will be supporting the UI/UX group within IT for a 3-6 month contract period. The web designer will participate in various phases of software development life cycle, and will work with the front-end team to ideate and design our innovative digital content. This role will also be responsible for conceptualizing and creating wireframe/prototypes, flushing out approved designs, and creating various design assets for the business at large.
The day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Designer Experience:
o Hands-on experience with the Figma, Sketch, Adobe creative suite.
o Knowledge in designing responsive web sites being built with Grid Frameworks, Flexbox, Bootstrap 3/4, CSS/ CSS3, media queries and HTML/HTML5.
o Experience with movie/motion software a plus (movie, Final Cut, Hype5, etc)
o Create templates, wireframes and mock-ups ensuring the design meets the requirements of the client and having used modern web technologies to inform your designs
Ensure all designs work across all browsers and on all devices having a strong command of media queries as needed.
Maintain client and staff satisfaction through proactive communication.
Work in both a self-directed and team environment with the willingness to take direction and bring new and innovative ideas to the team.
Produce deliverables that are professional, polished, visually appealing, and support best practices with minimal amount of oversight.
This position will be a 3-6 month contract. This position is fully remote in the US, requiring the individual to be based in EST time zone.
Compensation
$35-45/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
While on contract, benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
2-4 years of experience as a front end web designer within a law firm or professional services organization
Experience with Sketch, Figma and/or the Adobe suite for responsive web design
Possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of work and techniques
Comfortable with Mac and Windows based platforms
Competency with Sketch, inVision, Adobe CS, Grid Frameworks, Flexbox, Bootstrap 3/4.
A passion for strong web design that delivers great user experience and a strong understanding of the latest web design trends
