All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time, Monday through Friday **Shift** : DAYS/Evenings 10:30am - 7:00pm **Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach** 301 Memorial Medical Parkway Daytona Beach, FL 32117 **The role you'll contribute:** Provides accurate and reliable laboratory testing services to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Performs laboratory tests, calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment. Ensures that laboratory test results meet established quality control standards, analyzes and interprets them. Improves laboratory practices. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Ability to prepare tissue specimens to confirm patient diagnoses Ability to perform complex histological procedures, record and analyze data, and maintain/repair instruments Up-to-date knowledge of specimen handling, ranging from accession to specimen storage Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledgeable in troubleshooting and problem resolution Ability to support continuous laboratory service improvement to ensure timely preparations for quality diagnoses Ability to maintain safety standards and comply with government regulations in laboratory practices Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:** **Minimum qualifications** : + Associates Degree + Clinical Laboratory Technologist State Licensure This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
