Title: Hyper-V Migration Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking four highly skilled Hyper-V Migration Engineers to join our team on an urgent basis. These roles will support a large-scale corporate initiative focused on building enterprise-grade Hyper-V environments and migrating workloads from VMware to Hyper-V. The project involves working in enterprise settings with a Cisco + NetApp hardware stack, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and configure enterprise-class Hyper-V environments from the ground up.
Execute workload migrations from VMware to Hyper-V, ensuring stability, performance, and minimal disruption.
Troubleshoot complex migration challenges and apply proven solutions from prior experience.
Collaborate with internal teams and work under the direction of Jim and his management team, adhering to established change management processes.
Provide technical expertise and knowledge transfer as part of the migration effort.
Required Skills & Experience:
Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Hyper-V, including end-to-end setup and administration.
Strong working knowledge of VMware as a source environment for migration.
Demonstrated hands-on experience migrating diverse workloads from VMware to Hyper-V.
Ability to articulate migration challenges faced in past projects and strategies used to overcome them.
Familiarity with Cisco + NetApp infrastructure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a remote work environment.
