Job Title: Evening Nanny and Mother's Helper Needed in NYC (Polish-Speaking Preferred) Job Description: We are a family in NYC seeking a warm, reliable, and caring nanny to provide afternoon and evening support for our two children. While we've had great experiences with Polish nannies, we are open to any nationality. This role is ideal for someone young, energetic, and fluent in English who enjoys engaging with children and is also skilled in organizing. If you enjoy cooking, we'd welcome the extra help with meals. This position is perfect for a university student, with the opportunity to add more hours, including an optional full day on Saturdays to make it a full-time role. Schedule: The core hours for this position are as follows: * Monday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM * Tuesday: 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM * Wednesday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM * Thursday: 1:30 PM - 7:30 PM * Friday: 1:30 PM - 8:00 PM Total: 32 hours per week, with the option to add more hours if needed. Optional Saturday Shift: * Saturday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (8 hours) Adding Saturday would bring the total to 40 hours per week for a full-time role. Responsibilities: * Provide after-school care for our 8-year-old and 2-year-old, including engaging activities and homework help * Assist with light meal preparation (and more cooking if you enjoy it) * Help with light household tasks such as tidying up, laundry, making beds, and general organizing * Engage children in arts and crafts, imaginative play, and creative activities * Support the family as a mother's helper to keep the household running smoothly Qualifications: * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Experience with children and strong references * Enjoys cooking, arts and crafts, and creative play with kids * Fluent in English (Polish-speaking a plus) * CPR and First Aid certification preferred Also perfect for any actors or people pursuing arts or social media careers and as mentioned university students.
