We are currently seeking a full-time
Parts Delivery Driver for our
Harrisburg, PA location. The ideal candidate will work in the shipping department and a clean driving record is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Deliver parts to customer sites in a company-provided vehicle
- Pull product from storage and prepare for shipment
- Count and verify part quantities
- Stack cartons on skids, stretch wrap skids, and identify contents
- Prepare shipping documents and contact carriers for pick-up of shipments
- Enter received items into the system and store in proper location
- Participate in month-end and year-end physical inventory
- Keep warehouse organized, clean and in good condition
- Follow safety rules such as proper lifting techniques, and use equipment safely
- Operate forklift safely. We will provide training
- Work to accomplish company inventory accuracy goals
- Work with minimal supervision
- Load / unload trucks
REQUIREMENTS: - Preferred 2 years shipping and receiving experience
- Good communication skills including the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to follow outlined procedures and processes
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
