Shift: 3x12-hour Night Shifts
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $2,288.88
Hourly Rate: $63.58
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The RN will provide comprehensive care to birthing parents and newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. This role involves monitoring patient status, assisting during labor and delivery, educating families, and responding to any complications.
Key Responsibilities:Monitor and assess the condition of laboring patients, including vital signs, fetal health, and pain levels.
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Provide emotional support, guidance, and education to patients and families throughout the birthing process.
Administer medications, pain management interventions, and other prescribed treatments as directed.
Perform newborn assessments and initial care following delivery.
Document patient care, observations, and interventions accurately in medical records.
Respond promptly to emergencies and complications, following established protocols.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment in the Labor & Delivery unit.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care standards and protocols.
Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit.
Night shifts with a collaborative, patient-focused nursing team.
