Job Description

Location: Beverly, MA, 01915

Duration: 13-weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Nights)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: Local-$2,520 - Travel-$2,808; Depending on experience (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives with deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief interventions, including epidurals and IV medications.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Perform fetal monitoring, interpret data, and respond appropriately to abnormalities.
• Support patients and families with education and emotional guidance throughout the birthing process.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and professional best practices.
• Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
• Provide postpartum care immediately following delivery.

Requirements:

• Current and active Massachusetts RN license (required).
• Minimum of 1-2 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience (required).
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (required).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Experience :

• 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• OR comfortability highly preferred
