Located in Woodbury, Minnesota, Smiles Plus Dental Care is a dental clinic that focuses on creating a great experience for our patients. We are looking for an Unlicensed Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care to join our team. No prior experience needed; training available. This is a great entry-level position for students and those interested in beginning their career in dentistry.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Prepare and maintain patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits, knowledge, and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
