Clifton Hollow Animal Hospital is a well-established, privately owned small-animal practice in beautiful Poulsbo, WA. Compensation:

• Entry-Level Pay: $19–$21/hr
• Experienced Assistants (3+ years): $22–$26/hr
• Top-Tier Candidates: Up to $27/hr depending on anesthesia/surgical skillset
• Optional sign-on bonus for highly experienced candidates

These ranges outperform typical Poulsbo/Silverdale/Gig Harbor general-practice postings ($18–$23/hr) and rival top-paying clinics in the region.

Schedule:

What You’ll Do: 

As a Veterinary Assistant at Clifton Hollow, you will support our medical team in areas such as:

• Animal restraint, patient handling, and fear-free techniques
• Surgical prep, anesthesia support (based on experience), and recovery monitoring
• Blood draws, sample collection, in-house diagnostics, and laboratory tasks
• Client communication and education
• Maintaining clean, organized treatment areas and exam rooms
• Assisting veterinarians and technicians with daily procedures and appointments
