Job Description Summary

Job Summary:
The HVAC Apprentice is responsible for assisting in proper Operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment.
This includes but is not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, fans, pumps, heat exchangers, ancillary support equipment, water treatment, controls and BMS/EMS.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Management also reserves the right to change or modify this position description from time to time to meet the needs of the site and/or building(s)
 Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action. 
assist in Responding to all HVAC trouble calls and troubleshoot the systems to meet the operational and comfort needs of the building(s) occupants, where applicable. 
assist in Working with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.
assist in Troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
assist in Maintain HVAC equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program. 
assist in Performing other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs. 
Adhere to established HVAC work order preventive maintenance schedule. 
Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
