Position Summary

Huber AgroSolutions (HAS) seeks a  Technical Support Specialist to support specialty crop field trials, develop technical reports, and provide training on our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have expertise in agronomy, plant nutrition, and agricultural markets, with strong communication and analytical skills. They will closely co-operate with product management and commercial team on defining yearly objectives.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Training:
• Provide technical product support to sales teams and customers.
• Deliver training sessions and create educational materials for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop technical presentations and instructional aids for various audiences.
• Field Trials & Research Coordination:
• Oversee field trials for existing and new products, including trial design, evaluation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with universities/research centers to conduct trials and report results.
• Prepare regular updates on trial progress and results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in developing product positioning for various crops.
• Sales & Marketing Support:
• Act as a product specialist during client/distributor presentations.
• Build relationships with growers, consultants, and distributors to drive sales.
• Collaboration with the sales team on market research and competitor analysis
• Customer Engagement:
• Address technical inquiries via phone, email, or webinars.
• Investigate product performance complaints and conduct root cause analyses.

• • Provide on-field support for key customers representing large turnover.

• Product Development & Feedback:
• Share field insights with the Global Innovation Team and Product Management.
• Developing comprehensive product application plans, tailored by both crop and customer
• Support pre-launch activities by participating in late-stage product development tests.

Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, Crop Science, or related fields required. Masters or PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in agriculture or agronomic roles.
• Proficiency in specialty agriculture production practices (Fruits, Veggies).
• Strong analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Strong Preference for candidates within Northeast
• Must be able to travel more than 30% with Northeastern Region.
