JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Utility Person

Shift: 2nd Shift 12:00 - 08:00 PM

Location: Cactus, TX

Reports to: Terminal Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:                                     

• Safely shuttle various types of trailers for our customers.
• Operating company equipment and tractors, maintaining its good working condition.
• Inspecting trailers and ensuring the proper trailer is being loaded.
• Safely assist in unloading cattle.
• Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:                              

• Able to safely operate the company’s tractors, trailers, and other equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Available to worka non-traditional schedule, including weekends.
• Capable of developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and employees.
• A proven team player, dependable, and reliable.
• CDL license not required, but experience hauling trailers is strongly preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $19-$21.00 per hour
